The community garden was started in June 2019 as a project of the Town’s Communities in Bloom committee.  The garden is planted, tended and harvested by volunteers.  The produce is shared with citizens and organizations in need such as Newark Neighbours Food Bank and our farm workers.  The garden’s success has inspired us to expand it to be double in size in 2021, which will also allow us to plant more vegetable varieties.
