This 2-acre farm, located at the Vineland Research Station, is a place for people from downtown St. Catharines and the Queenston Street neighborhood to volunteer, make new friends, enjoy fresh air and sunshine.  We provide them an opportunity to contribute to the community by sharing produce with the Start Me Up Niagara kitchen, n opportunity to learn new skills, a connection to the whole food system.  All food grown at the farm is to provide food to Start Me Up Niagara and offered to the Queenston St. community at a low cost. Anyone in the community can volunteer.

Services Provided: Start Me Up Niagara provides training, supplies and transportation for volunteers and staff to work at the garden.  Weekly BBQ’s and special events.

Needs: Cold storage capacity and processing space; volunteers for growing program, distribution, marketing.
